MEDIPAT-DS (Olopatadine 0.2%) is a sterile ophthalmic solution. Olopatadine is an anti-allergic compound which has been demonstrated to stabilize human conjunctival tissue mast cells, preventing the release of histamine and other inflammatory mediators. Olopatadine is a selective histamine H -antagonist that inhibits Type I immediate 3 hypersensitivity reactions. It has been shown to inhibit the release of pro-inflammatory mediators from human conjunctival mast and epithelial cells. Olopatadine has no significant effects on alpha-adrenergic, dopamine and muscarinic Type 1 and 2 receptors.

MEDIPAT-DS Eye Drops are indicated for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis.

The recommended therapy is one drop of MEDIPAT-DS Eye Drops in the affected eye(s) twice a day.

MEDIPAT-DS (olopatadine ophthalmic solution) 0.2% is supplied sterile in opaque white LDPE plastic bottle with dropper with white high impact polystyrene (HIPS) cap in 5ml pack.

• Use as directed by the physician.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Protect from light, heat & moisture.
• Store in cool & dry place at 15°C to 30°C.
• Do not freeze.
• Use Solution within one month after first opening of the bottle.
• Do not touch dropper tip to any surface, as this may contaminate the solution.
